Here are more recent icon challenge entries. I got a bit carried away and have only just  realised that I don't have to enter every challenge - basically, I've calmed down a bit. :)

I'm going to London next week for a marathon culture session. Lost of exhibitions and lots of theatre - Toby Stephens in The Country Wife, Benedick Cumberbatch in Rhinoceros, Myra Syal in Rafta Rafta, The 39 Steps and War Horse. Can't wait.

Since this is the home of the handsome I feel I should be discussing this topic in greater detail and am planning to so soon - hopefully my friends will contribute to the lusting dicussion too. Needless to say, JJ Feild is my main interest but James McAvoy and Viggo Moretensen  are close to my heart too. Viggo is especially in my mind recently as I'm really looking forward to seeing him as Nikolai in the new movie Eastern Promises.

I don't think this challenge is taking place, so here are my entries anyway.

Well, blow me down. Just as I thought I would never get anywhere with my icons - I'm still struggling with the little critters - I have come 3rd in the Austen_stills comp. CANNOT believe it, really can't.

Here is my stinker for the first icon challenge I entered at Period_stills

My past is coming to haunt me - in a good way, I hope. :) I wanted to grow up to be Natalie Wood, she's the ultimate pretty girl IMHO, and when I first saw her sing a song about her prettiness in West Side Story her fate was sealed as my personal goal. Failed, obviously - but I love her.

I also love blond men, occasionally (JJ - Kls). I'm much more drawn to TDH but some blonds just can't be ignored, and Steve McQueen is one of my exceptions.

Both these loves caused me to make some new icons. I mainly wanted to create some images from one of my all-time favourite movies, Love with the Proper Stranger, but Thomas Crown and other images got caught up in the mix.

It's all C19's fault. It's an inspiring place and the icon/signature making virtuosos there inspired me to delve deeper into Photoshop and have a go. I've been bitten by the bug and now have more fonts than I ever imagined I'd need. I'm still learning a great deal about PS and I'm still in awe of my creative C19 buds, but I'm hoping that to take part in some icon challenges here...and learn even more.
